You shall live forever

Forever Thy Shall Live

In Hearts of All Thy Love.

Sooner than many though it would

Dusk it had come,

And the sky portentously had chosen

To warp itself with a thick cumulus blanket

The shivering night to overcome.

However, those who were caught unguarded,

For what was to come,

It was a trying time.

Their resources however hard they did farm,

Proved little enough.

Whether or not they were to survive the tough

Trough they had landed on -

Now they are left without a guardian,

Depended on what they were made of.

This said, friends and foes alike

At his residence doorstep,

Where he would no longer be seen

Walking in walking out

To keep the nation on its feet,

People had gathered.

Understandably the bereaved were in deep shock,

For loosing the man they regarded as their unwavering shield.

Others looked puzzled,

The man who challenged and kept them on their toes,

By a cruel twist of nature,

At the hands of raffish, ruffian paid agent

He had succumbed to a bullet

And for good he had then being laid to rest.

Even the opportunists got on board,

Pouring out their eulogistic praises

For a man they had never come to his aide.

In dying he had given them double edge.

For a start he shall no more be a threat

And their eulogies were nothing

But self serving patronage

To increase their public rating.

Where it hurts most,

Following his egress,

Many more, like this man no more,

will come to fall,

Like a fledgling bird, in flight

Manoeuvrability that had lost.
